Are you looking for a super healthy smoothie packed with all the best ingredients? If so, then this spinach smoothie recipe might just be what you are looking for.  Packed with nutrient-dense spinach and fruits, this green smoothie will leave you feeling fresh and full of energy.

Why Spinach Smoothie?

This recipe is a great option for an easy, light and, healthy breakfast but is also great as an in-between meal snack to keep your energy levels up.  As far as green smoothies go, this is one to remember. Full of the good stuff and all the flavour of those sweet fruits.

Make spinach smoothie recipe

There really is nothing to this recipe. The basic ingredients for this recipe are easily found in your fridge and closest grocery store to make this super smoothie.

All you will need is avocado, oranges and kiwi for the fruit. Spinach gives this smoothie its green colour and packs it with goodness.

Mint provides a fresh kick and the coconut water adds liquid to make it drinkable.

Lastly, the addition of yogurt (or ice cream/milk) finishes the smoothie off with a creamy taste and texture that keeps you fuller for longer.

Everything goes into the blender with ice and it’s ready. Garnishes are kiwi slices and sliced strawberries, plus fresh mint.

Spinach Smoothie Ideas

Mango Spinach Smoothie

Who doesn’t love mango? Honestly, I’ve never heard of anyone.

If you fancy this mango twist to your smoothie simply add 1 cup of fresh or frozen mango to this recipe and voila - a Mango Spinach Smoothie at your service.

Pineapple spinach smoothie

This is one for pineapple lovers. It’s both sweet and tart at the same time and gives a great tropical flavour to the smoothie.

Simply add one cup of fresh or frozen pineapple to the recipe and substitute the coconut milk or orange juice with pineapple juice.

Blueberry Spinach Smoothie

For those who really want to pack a punch of antioxidants in their smoothie, then this version should do the trick.

To make this recipe, all you need to do is replace the kiwi with either fresh or frozen blueberries or just add one cup of fresh or frozen blueberries to the original recipe.

Avocado Spinach Smoothie

If you’re looking for a smoothie that will be really filling and keep you going for a going time then this avocado smoothie will be right up your street.

Simply add one extra avocado to the original recipe. It will make the smoothie a little thicker and make it a little more creamy. Absolutely delicious.
